Epimedium

Epimediums are hardy little perennials, growing best in semi-shaded to shaded positions, under trees is perfect. Once established they are quite tough, being both frost and drought tolerant. I don’t know why you would be without one.

Epimedium ‘Amber Queen’

Foliage is mottled in rust tones, and if that wasn’t enough, it has prolific flowers with deep yellow flowers with lighter hooks, red tinged back and speckled petals hang from black stems. What can I say?

This one is a stunner. Softly mottled leaves with bronze tints, this lovely thing has stunning two toned deep rose pink and white flowers on long arching stems.

Epimedium ‘Pink Champagne’

Wonderful multi-tones pink flowers of soft pink and darker pink cups. Long narrow foliage emerges mottled and then fades to green over the Summer.

Epimedium ‘Purple Prince’

Purple Prince’ has deep purple flowers in spring that rise above the foliage. The new leaves that emerge in the spring have a nice bronze tones that matures to green.

Epimedium ‘Shikinami’

Wonderful bronze foliage of bronze green with prominent veins. In the Spring beautiful clear white flowers appear on arching stems.

Epimedium ‘Spring Wedding’

Spring foliage emerges dark purple, then lightens and expands to show off wide mahogany edges. The flowers are a lovely soft lavender with white cups.

Epimedium wushanense

A real beauty, with deep copper foliage emerging in the Spring, followed by large yellow flowers. This is a larger form growing to 60cm. She lasts longer too, flowering well into Autumn if happy.
